You did hear about it from the liberal news media when she was being charged with about 12 or 14 different ethic violations. You could hear about it even if you were tuned into Price is Right or Let's make a deal, it didn't matter. They got the news to you one way or another. Honestly I don't remember what all the charges were but I do remember it was all over the news. But now since she was cleared of all those charges, the liberal news media has fallen

Well, it can but you need to install codecs to play HD videos.


But VLC Media Player can play HD Videos without installing any codecs. Yes VLC is definitely among the best.





But u can also use window player classic and installed a full free codec (Klite codec pack) for other format.





Sorry it doesn't change the clearer and sharper because it depends on the original video, how is it coded, what format, frames rate etc.
VLC Player with the right codecs will give you sharper playback than the windows player.

Win Media Player not working after clearing cookies?

After clearing cookies I logged into my account at Virgin Mobile to get ring tones. Now the Win Media won't play the sample ';previews';. Actually, a few of the ';song'; files play, but other poly sounds, etc. Generate an error message in the player.

I've made no changes to network settings, etc.

In case you have not noticed most of the media is extremely biased against conservatives and their causes. They have gotten into the business of making the news rather than reporting it, bad news gets press, good news does not, and the views of the anchors is always put forth as gospel. News reports used to be unbiased but in recent years this has changed dramatically.

One suggestion might be that iTunes organises (makes folders for ALL your music if you want it to [My Music\iTunes\iTunes Music\etc.]) all your files for quick access, whereas WMP doesn't.

A non destructive reload of windows. It will keep all your files but you have to reinstall programs before the files will open. This is because a program gets installed on windows. When rebooting your PC use F11 or whichever one says system recovery. HP has a built in partition that allows you to restore windows without discs. If I was you I would do a destructive recovery (makes it like the day you bought it) after copying all your files to an external hard drive.

Can someone explain in a clear, ez to understand way, of how to burn CDs with Media Player?

It's a pain, I hate it, a virus destoyed JukeBox from my coputer which I usually use to burn CDs, and I managed to burn a CD once with Media PLayer but it took like 15 minutes for the songs to download, JukeBox it was like five, if that.... And Media Player usually says an error occured with a few of the songs. I hate it but can someone help make it less of a ***** for me?? When in the media player, go to the tab that says burn...drag the songs you want to burn from your library. As your drop songs the meter will start to fill in based on the amount of space on the disk. WMP will not burn music DVD's...you can onlu use 700MB disks. This is if you want a msuic cd that can be played for example in a car cd player. if you use a DVD the songs will be burned as data, meaning they will be MP3 files or other formats like WMA. But they wont be CD AUDIO tracks. CD AUDIO tracks and MP3 are not the same.

It drives me crazy whenever I hear an ultraconservative commentator tell outrageous lies about the ';liberal agenda'; and then complain bitterly about the ';liberal media'; - on radio or television.

You are 100 % correct. NBC and ABC were realistically moderate before being bought out by conservative companies, General Electric bought NBC and Disney bought ABC. Fox and CC have always been conservative, they make no apologies for it, they are proud of it. Problem is, conservatism does not work. It was the economic system that produced boom and bust cycles ending in the Great Depression following the Crash of 1929, so bringing that system back is economic suicide. Yet look at the statistics--the Middle Class has voted for its own extinction by voting Republican--coddling the rich at the expense of the ordinary citizen. Oh well, its what they voted for. I think there is a misinterpretation in this area by liberals. They hear Conservatives say the media is biased and misinterpret the statement to mean that the media is lying. Much of what the media reports is true, the problem is that they are one sided in their reporting. Well, PR has its advantages, but you have inadvertently pointed out its disadvantages. You are clearly mad and so are many of the fringe parties - monomaniacs like UKIP (whose record of corruption and incompetence outstrips any major party) and straightforward evil bastards like the bnp. PR leads to these people gaining MPs and upsetting some constituency or other. In the end, PR would not actually lead to any of these nutters gaining real power so you would still be back to trying to see the end of the world in some EU directive or other.

All those other assemblies have a system of democracy. It is time Westminster did too.





All 3 main parties plan a degree of electoral reform if they win the next election. Their plans are:

Labour - Alternative vote (or ';instant run off';) - used for Mayor of London election. List candidates in order of preference. Candidate with fewest votes eliminated and his second preference votes redistributed until someone has 50%+1 of the votes. It is not PR.


Tory - slash the number of MPs. Bad plan, even if popular (they excel at populism.) The FPTP system needs the ';marginal'; seats to make it work. Remove them, and we could be stuck with one party rule for 30 or 40 years. It also makes it harder for an MP to see his constituents, by giving him 3 times as many of them to see!





Tony Blair promised before 1997 to look into PR. Of course with a 180 seat majority he was no longer interested in it. But it was introduced in all the new assemblies Labour created. If it is right for Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, London and Europe, it is right for Westminster.





Expect Tory support for it to increase if they achieve the very likely result of winning more votes than Labour, but still ending up on the opposition benches.

There would be no need to vote tactically as many do under FPTP. I don't think they are sensationalizing it. I remember 26 years ago when my economic life changed completely. 1982 was a terrible year for a lot of people and it took about 2 years before things began to improve for about 20% of the population.





The improvement was slow and tedious. Many had to relocate or take temporary positions paying around $4 per hour. This happened to people with many years of service. With the automotive industry laying off large numbers of people now, we are just at the beginning of worse things to come. It is happening now just like then.

4) He would involve more government in health care. If you think this is a bright idea, look at our VA hospitals.





I have researched each of the candidates completely because I want to make absolutely the best choice. I take voting really seriously. I don't know how anyone who has done the research could vote for him. He is charming, charismatic and one heck of a speaker, but when you look into his voting record and platform you realize how wrong he is for America.
He still has not made it clear! If you have his details tell us, cause I sure have not heard of them yet! Especially on the Economy- all I've heard is raising taxes 50% on people who make 75K and up so they can loose their houses and pay for the lazy poor guys who have no motivation already to get out and get a education or get real jobs! Health care he says Social! Which is PROVED to be a failure in any country that has it!!!!!!!! Obama hasnt even been to Iraq in 2 1/2 years! how does he know what he would do! He has to see it ! that is like saying Im running this restaurant but havent tasted the food yet.
I've been to his website just yesterday actually. It lists many general things he wants to do like strengthen the economy, end the war in Iraq, fix the Health care system. it does not anywhere, however, list HOW he intends to do any of this. That is not a plan - that is a wish list. So, he hasn't made anything clear.
I have to say that every speech I have seen Obama deliver has been full of vagueries. I come away, each time, with the impression that smoke has just been blown somewhere.





I still enjoy how he said he would play hardball with NAFTA and remove the US from the treaty if it is not renegotiated to his liking...only to then have a staffer send a memo to the Prime Minister of Canada saying he didn't really mean it and to ignore that stance as campaign tough talk.





Face it, he waxes poetic and wants you to like him. Neither Hillary, McCain or Obama really stand for anything but themselves.
If you really listen to Obama.. If you really read what he has said.. you should question what he says.





Yes, he has wonderful plans and hopes and dreams.. but ask yourself.. just how is he doing this or that.. where is the money coming from.. how is he going to get everyone..Congress.. to vote for it.





He does have some good ideas.. not as great as everyone is making them.. most of them the same as Hillary's or just reworded from some other presidential hopeful.. BUT.. even tho he.. or someone.. writes about it most eloquently.. if you are very careful, you will see.. he does not have a plan for implementing any of it. Just rhetoric and hope it will all fall into place.





How many president and elected officials have said that.. ...millions.... so don't vote for him just because you believe all his plans.. most won't come into being.
Maybe because they, like smart Americans, are still waiting for realistic ways to solve the problems, not a bunch of ';pie in the sky'; unrealistic ideas wrapped up like a Christmas present in flowery Speeches.
He has not made it clear, just because he says he will withdraw the troops in Iraq (and given he has changed the date 3 times) he has not given any specifics of how it will be done.

We cannot. Other than refusing to watch CNN, PMSNBC, ABC, CBS, PBS, and all the rest, and only watching Fox News Channel. That is what I do. Expect for my Local, and State News, I exclusively watch Fox News Channel.

Help me to clear my Playlist and Library, off of Windows Media Player?

I've tried to search for the ';clear Playlist'; button, but I couldn't seem to find it. Any of you guys can help me with this?Help me to clear my Playlist and Library, off of Windows Media Player?
Click on ';Library'; tab


On the left column, you should see ';My Playlists'; and ';Auto Playlists';, click on the one you want.


Then go to right column, hold on your left mouse button and drag to select the playlists. Then right click and choose delete.





Oh, choosing ';Clear History'; like the answer below has stated will not clear the playlists.

I viewed videos that I guess I shouldn't have at home and now I can't clear the memory. I tried deleting cookies, temp files and history through the tools/internt options but that didn't work.

You could try deleting the entire windows media player and then just go and redownload a new one (either from the internet or from a back up disk if you have one, or from someone who does).
