Windows media player not clear?

I cannot get videos to play clearly. They are not to bad, but they are definitly not perfect. I recently restored my computer now videos that i know should be perfectly clear are not. I have downloaded latest windows media player and other media players, but they are never crystal clear like they were before i restored. Any ideas?

thanksWindows media player not clear?
If you just restored your computer, chances are you will need to reinstall various hardware drivers for your system, to include your video card. Try going to your PC manufactors website if you dont have the driver disk that maybe came with your computer.Windows media player not clear?
you need a better and faster vidio card
reinstall windows xp

or

use KMP instead of WMP
Download and install Media Player Classic from http://www.sourceforge.net

If that doesn't work, it's probably a video driver issue. Visit your video card manufacturer's website and download the latest drivers.
buy a new 1
Maybe it's just you. Thinking that the restored version is not as good as the previous one.
