And for the best media player, I would suggest VLC Player. It requires no codecs. The only thing is that it takes like 20 mins to get used to.

its free, and contains all the codecs you need to watch all formats of video.





then play dvds in windows media player, or the BS player the pack comes with.





you dont need a great gfx card or high ram, since video is read from the source, not stored in random access memory. you only need lots of that for running multiple programs/games.
