Because one is made my Microsoft and the other by Apple. Media player is just a crappy addition so that windows can play music and watch videos, they don't care about it.Why is itunes clearer than media player? I play linked up to my hi-fi and the same mp3 sounds much clearer?
One suggestion might be that iTunes organises (makes folders for ALL your music if you want it to [My Music\iTunes\iTunes Music\etc.]) all your files for quick access, whereas WMP doesn't.
